42y male, shot at close range with shotgun, massive trauma to shoulder (bone / joint, and soft tissues). After several wound debridements and treatment with a reverse shoulder replacement, he gained a reasonable function after 18 months of rehabilitation. He is not 25 years post-surgery and still functioning well
